A few weeks ago, I was afforded the opportunity to attend the Writing from the Soul workshop sponsored by Hay House Publishing. The workshop presenters were Reid Tracy, Hay House President and CEO, Nancy Levin, Hay House Events Coordinator and poet, and Dr. Wayne Dyer, author of over 40 books including, Your Erroneous Zones, The Power of Intention, and most recently, Wishes Fulfilled. Dr. Dyer also stars in the movie produced by Hay House titled The Shift.
Do whatever you need to get into this state. If it’s going for a run first OK that or a bike ride work well for me. It’s as if the energy I’ve expended allows ne to relax deeper and I take a sense of achievement into the Workshop with me. Maybe music works better for you or having taken the dog for a walk or being by running water. Whatever it is once you get that happy feeling sit and start your Art jamming Workshop.
Impressive portfolio. Let’s be honest: If you’re looking to impress someone with your portfolio, you’ve got to WOW them with your resume – and what better way than to highlight your public speaking experience along with your vast knowledge of “whatever” topic? It’s a showstopper.
Regardless of whether Art jamming you need a little more room for crafting gardening woodworking or being a mechanic turning that garage into a workshop is not as hard to do as you might think.
Garages have for years been a place for storing items that you must have but are not used very often. Take the time to go through the boxes and get rid of anything you think you will no longer need. Then install shelves along the walls and hooks for storing things like bicycles overhead and choose an area that has now been opened up for your Art jamming Workshop.
If you are worried about how learn the guitar, there are plenty of ways. You can buy a book, take a class at you local community college, or you can sign up for any number of courses available through the Internet.
The best way to control your expenses is to have a running budget document where you keep track of all your expenses. This is something I do for my clients as part of the Winning Workshop Road Map. I create a budget for them that lists all the revenue streams but also all the expenses that you can expect. All the formulas are already included, so once you get billed, fill in your actual expenses and you can see exactly where the bottom line is going. It is a powerful tool that is indispensable for any workshop or event.
