The Keys To Meditation

Panic attacks and social anxiety are not anything to be taken lightly. When you experience panic attacks or social anxiety on a regular basis, you can become a shadow of your former self and that can make the situation even tougher to bear. It also can limit the options that you have in how you live your life. There are jobs that are going to be out of the question because of your social anxiety or panic attacks.

The logical mind wanted to pull me back, for once I reached peaceful inner skies it told me that nothing was there and the trip was over. But I told the mind “come with me … lets go exploring” … and it soon became spellbound with the mystery, following my heart in a grace of silent wonder.

Books are tape are another great way to engage in stress free driving especially if your drive is a long one in a busy city. There are Zen Baltimore tapes that are made especially for drivers, as well as music that is made specifically to create calm in intense environments.

It may sound odd, but you may want to dress up a little for your presentation. True, your listeners can’t see you, but you know how you look. If you change your clothes for a webinar you may feel more professional (even if you change into your nicer track suit).

Take a long, slow, deep breath in. Notice the air filling your lungs. Notice the feelings you get as you breath in. Then, once your lungs are full of air, hold your breath. Not for long, just a second or two will do fine. But just hold your breath and again notice the sensations that you feel. Finally, slowly and surely, breath out. Exhale all the air that you have breathed in. this process should take about the same time as it took for you to inhale.

Brothers and sisters: We know that a man is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ, and not by works of the law, because by works of the law shall no one be justified. For I through the law died to the law, that I might live to God. I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me; and the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not nullify the grace of God; for if justification were through the law, then Christ died to no purpose.

So there you have it, a breathing exercise that you can use as a breathing meditation technique. It sounds simple – because it is simple – but you’ll be truly amazed at how this simple free meditation technique can change your life for the better.
